Good lord... how to pick a favorite... no doubt I think it depends how Scott has touched your life.. and he has ours in so many ways... It may be how he crossed the Great Divide... how be embraced fatherhood With Arms Wide Open... how he realized the mortality of life in Broken... oh the list could go on!!

I dont think I can narrow it down to ONE fave.. but since we talking TGD... I think... SURROUND ME... god how I could make references to FIGHT SONG.. BROKEN.. so many... Scott you have touched us in EVERY way!!

I agree the entire album is great! I would have to say Surround Me is my fav followed by Fight Song.

I've been offline for a week and POW!...i got to FINALLY hear Overcome (AWESOME,AMAZING,EXCELLENT, and i AM "overcome" with emotions when i hear it...love it!! it ROCKS!!!!!! ) then i got to join this Scott Stapp Site :) Life is good!
Back on Topic...lol ~ Well,it's really impossible to pick just ONE from TGD,but IF i had to pick,i would have to say "Justify" for reasons that's hard to explain. I love the whole album!!

I really enjoy the whole album it's really hard to pick a favorite,the album came out 2years after my husband passed away but i really like surround me,the great divide,and sublime.

gosh my fav would still have to be.. Surround Me.. *happy sigh* I loved every note and every lyric of that
song from the first time I heard it. That song NEVER get old for me. It's amazing how music can take you
somewhere in your mind, and SM takes me to a place I never want to leave.

Wow, hard to pick just one...just like with any of Scott/Creed's songs! If I *had* to pick just one, I'd probably say "Broken"...knowing Scott's story/testimony, and also with reference to those emotions in my own life..."do you know...what it feels like..to be broken and used, scared and confused"...yes, I know! Scott's emotions ring through in the passion of his delivery of this song, as with every one of his songs. Others I really love are Let Me Go, Surround Me (two opposite sides of the spectrum, wanting his demons to let him go, and God to surround him with His presence).

Favorite song on TGD... what a tough choice! But I've always loved Reach Out. Awesome hard rocking song, and the lyrics just seem to embody the complexity of anger and hope that Scott seemed to be going through at the time. However, Surround Me and Broken are also incredible, and I love me some Justify!

My favorite is Surround Me! Without a doubt, the best song on that album!

FLIGHT SONG is my theme song!! LOVE IT! I like them all. Justify and The Great Divide are next!
