Scott Stapp & Van Halen Rumor?

I heard this morning that Eddie Van Halen is talking about getting different singers to sing on different songs for a new album that he is currently writing. He didn't say whether or not it was to for an actual Van Halen album or just an Eddie Van Halen and Friends type of project. What I thought was VERY interesting was that when they asked him if he had talked to any singers or had anybody in mind, he said that he loves Scott Stapp's voice and the lyrical content that he writes. Eddie also said something along the lines that at the time when Creed first broke out into the music scene in the 90's that he really didn't listen to them until 2005/2006 when he was given a copy of "My Own Prison" to listen to which was also during the time that he was going through his drug/alcohol addictions, battling cancer, divorce and his mother passing away. Eddie said that he truly believes it was a blessing in disguise when he got that CD from a friend.
